\n(Unceded Algonquin Territory, Ottawa, June 15, 2023)<\/strong> \u2014\u00a0Nature Canada\u2019s Women for Nature program with the support of CLIF Bar & Company<\/a> are proud to announce the latest recipients of our Young Nature Leaders Grant<\/strong>. Each $1,000 grant is intended to encourage, foster and nurture young people to demonstrate their own leadership for nature.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt brings me great hope and happiness to see these young people taking leadership in their local communities to help and heal nature,\u201d says the Honourable Rosa Galvez, Honorary Chair of Nature Canada\u2019s Women for Nature program. \u201cThrough their actions and advocacy, young Canadians across the country are creating a cleaner and brighter tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Celebrating this exciting effort to empower youth and nature lovers alike, Nature Canada expanded the Young Nature Leaders Grants program this year, now awarding ten grants of $1,000 each. The purpose of the program is to empower young people to take action for nature by putting them at the heart of it. This year\u2019s recipients include:<\/p>\n
